PHOENIX-May 12, 2005-Validity Sensors Inc., the recognized innovator of the next generation of fingerprint sensing technology, has hired one of National Semiconductor's top marketing directors to lead its sales division.
Validity appointed Jeff Andersen, an industry veteran, as vice president of sales for the company. Andersen was previously the Asia Pacific analog marketing director for National Semiconductor's marketing & sales division. Before joining National Semiconductor in the year 2000, Andersen served as vice president of sales for Vivid Semiconductor.
When asked what attracted him to Validity, Andersen said, "Fingerprint sensors are being adopted into a wide variety of markets and are consequently experiencing exciting growth.
