    Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer, Raza Microelectronics, Inc. (RMI)

    Mr. Raza has served as founder, chairman, CEO, COO, and board member for companies such as RMI, Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), NexGen, Matrix Semiconductors, AMI Semiconductor, Mellanox Technologies, Inc., eASIC, and TRG. As President and Chief Operating Officer of Advanced Micro Devices, Mr. Raza was responsible for laying the foundation of AMD's processor roadmap and was instrumental in bringing the AMD-K6 and Athlon family of processors to market.

  • Arjun Gupta

    Mr. Gupta is Founder & Managing Partner of TeleSoft Partners, a venture capital firm focused on high-tech start-ups. For over 20 years Mr. Gupta has worked in technology venture capital, consulting and design engineering positions. At TeleSoft, Mr. Gupta manages capital commitments of $625+ million, and over the last decade has overseen the investment in and building of 61+ private companies, resulting in 32+ acquisitions with a cash acquisition price or market value equivalent of $18 billion. In addition to serving on Validity's board, Mr. Gupta serves on the board of Calient, Education.com, Knowledge Adventure, LiteScape, LogLogic, and Nexant.

  • Nick Mignano
    Board Member, Validity Sensors Inc.

    Mr. Mignano joined Crosslink in 2006 and evaluates venture capital opportunities in Energy Technologies and Computing and Semiconductors.

    Prior to joining Crosslink, he worked in a variety of engineering roles in the semiconductor industry most recently at Cypress Semiconductor in Marketing and Business Development.

    Mr. Mignano holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.

  • Shankar Chandran
    Board Member, Validity Sensors Inc.

    Mr. Chandran is a principal at Panorama Capital and focuses on technology investments. In addition to serving on Validity’s board, he also serves on the boards of Neoconix, CHiL Semiconductor and Tagsys RFID and on the Advisory Board of Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Santa Clara University. Previously, Mr.Chandran was involved with the firm’s investments in Reflectivity (acquired by TI), Valere Power (acquired by Eltek) and Portalplayer (acquired by Nvidia). Prior to his venture capital career, from 1995 to 2000, Mr. Chandran held various engineering, business development, and management roles at Applied Materials, Inc.

  • Rob Baxter
    Board Member and Chief Executive Officer, Validity Sensors Inc.

    Mr. Baxter has over 30 years of global semiconductor experience in Consumer, Telecom, and Automotive markets. Prior to joining Validity, he was at SiRF Technology as Senior Vice President. Prior to joining SiRF, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Centrality Communications, where he led the company through the acquisition by SiRF in August 2007.

    Mr. Baxter has also served as Chief Executive Officer at Xanoptix / Xan3D Technologies, as Senior Vice President and Member of Office of the President at Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing, and as Vice President and General Manager of several Divisions in Motorola Semiconductor Product Sector (now known as Freescale) based in Europe, the United States and Asia during a 16-year career.

  • Richard Sanquini, BSEE

    Technology Consultant

    One of the few technology executives to have played a key role in the birth of the semiconductor industry and the consumer electronics revolution in the 21st century. Today, Mr. Sanquini works as an industry consultant, investor and board director with a strong reputation for helping to build young companies and prepare them for public offering and/or acquisition.

    Mr. Sanquini currently serves on the boards of Validity, LitePoint, Synaptics, R2 Semiconductor, and WaveConnex, and is the Chairman of Pixelworks. He also served as Chairman of PortalPlayer, the company that developed the silicon and operating system firmware for the Apple iPod.

    Prior to becoming a consultant and director, Mr. Sanquini worked at National Semiconductor, initially as vice president of microprocessors, microcontrollers, and peripherals with subsequent roles as senior vice president of the consumer and commercial division and as the company's chief technology officer. Mr. Sanquini’s career began in 1959 at RCA's Solid State Electronics Division, where he designed the company's first commercially available integrated circuits, and eventually served as general manager and director of memories and microprocessors.

    Mr. Sanquini holds a BSEE degree from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, Wisconsin.
